Ancient Peaks is a newer winery on the Central Coast started by the group of families that own the 1,400 acre Santa margarita Ranch. There is a 800 acre vineyard planted on the ranch that was put there in the 80’s by Mondavi. Mike Sinor, a rock star and extremely talented winemaker has taken on the project and as usual first vintage out the gates scored 93 points from Robert Parker and was featured in Sunset. Keep and eye out for their other wines, available by special order: Sauv Blanc, Cabernet, Syrah, Petite Verdot, Malbec & Oyster Ridge.
